“Damned if you do, damned if you dont,” says Sharon Cuneta to bashers who criticizes her husband Kiko Pangilinan.
Megastar Sharon Cuneta posted several screenshots of testimonies from both people and institutions thanking her husband Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan for the COVID-19 relief efforts they've received from the senator.
In the caption, the singer and actress simply wrote, “Some people say, 'Damned if you do, damned if you don't.' So they can damn Kiko all they want--we don't really care--it's about time you knew that at least, he did. Hah! [This is just one of many]"
The series of posts were directed to Kiko's bashers who accuse the senator of not even lifting a finger during the imposed enhanced community quarantine.
In one of the posts, Kiko commented, “Naku si Commander in Chief may lahing katipunera at gerilya… Don't me,” followed by a series of hearts signifying his love for his wife.
Furthermore, fans commended the powerhouse duo and advised Sharon to simply turn a blind eye towards bashers since it's evident that they are willing to help those who are in need.
It was reported on April 9 that Sharon Cuneta donated PhP3 million for COVID-19 relief to help the overcrowding of hospitals that are battling the virus.
This was seconded by actress Angel Locsin in a post that states, “BTW, Ms. Sharon donated a whopping 3 MILLION PESOS para makatulong kahit paano sa overcrowded hospital situation ngayon.
“Binigay niya ito ng KUSA at AYAW IPAALAM. Pasensiya na po Ms. Sharon at nasabi ko, ha? Just wanted to share my experience sayo kung gaano ka ka-charitable.”
